About Us
Our mission here at Bachelor Chow is to demystify and democratize the art of cooking. Born out of a combination of necessity, and a general frustration with much of the culinary culture of the day, we strive to make good home cooking accessible and fun, as it should be.
When choosing which recipes to feature, we focus on three things:
Simplicity
- All of our recipes are easy to understand, as are the methods
we use and the purpose of the ingredients. We believe cooking doesn't
need to be complicated to be good!
Practicality
- We know you're busy, and we respect your time. That's why all of our
recipes take 30 minutes or less of actual hands-on work, with no unnecessary
complications. So you can spend your time doing what you love.
Affordability
- You'll never see rare or expensive ingredients in our recipes, because we
know what its like to live on a tight budget. Every ingredient we use is easy to find
for a reasonable price in just about any store, so you can be confident you're getting
a good bang for your buck.
